Founded in the year 2000 by Vancouver drummer, musician and producer Hamish Thomson, The HERMIT began life as a solo electronic project but - over the course of seven years and three albums – has morphed into an award-winning, 5 piece indie/pop/electronica band. The HERMIT recently completed their third album, Turn Up (The Stereo) with co-producer Krish Sharma (Perry Farrell, Rolling Stones).

Ookpikk is the creation of Dan Godlovitch, a Canadian electronic music who
has been recording under the Ookpikk moniker (taken from the Inuktitut word
for "snowy owl") since 2006. True to its title, Ookpikk's debut album "Total
Home-Job" was composed, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely by Godlovitch
in his home studio in Victoria, British Columbia.

Britt Myers is a record producer, mix engineer, composer and arranger whose experience and creativity belie his relative youth. Based at his New York studio, Great City Productions, Britt has worked with an impressive selection of new and established talent including Robbers On High Street, Mates of State and Suzanne Vega.

manoeuvres is an annual compilation album showcasing the best electronic music by artists from vancouver. Released on So Called Recordings, manoeuvres 1 debuted in march 2007 hitting the #1 spot on emusic.com’s Electronic Chart and the Top 5 of iTunes Canada’s Electronic Chart. Manoeuvres 2 is set for release in March 2008.
