So Called Management is a boutique Artist Management company founded in 2003 and run by Rob Hollingsworth. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, So Called Management represents a small but eclectic roster of Canadian and international artists overseeing and coordinating all aspects of their careers, including recording, publishing, touring, press, publicity and promotions.

So Called Management's clients have signed with both major and independent labels and publishers, including Columbia Records, Hollywood Records, Six Degrees Records, Nettwerk, "A" Side Music, Rebel Synch, Endearing Publishing and EMI Publishing.

The revolution in online music distribution led to the founding, in 2006, of record label So Called Recordings with digital distribution to iTunes, eMusic, Amazon, Napster and many other international digital retailers. So Called Recordings has released albums by The Hermit, Ookpikk and C.R. Avery as well as the highly successful "manoeuvres" annual compilations of Vancouver electronic music. So Called Recordings' promotional contacts and know-how has seen these releases punch above their weight in attaining #1 positions on radio airplay charts and download sales charts.

Rob Hollingsworth has over 17 years' music industry experience in Festival and Event Production, Talent Recruitment, Tour Management, Label Management and Artist Management. Rob’s resume includes work with Glastonbury Festival, the International Live Music Conference, Primary Talent International, One Little Indian Records and Sony Music International with artists including Peter Gabriel, Wyclef and The Raveonettes.
